Our Certificate in Spiritual Life Coaching is earned through participation and practice, not passive attendance.
The program is a six-week guided home-study supported by instructor check-ins and required fieldwork. Students complete lessons independently, meet with the instructor for guidance, and work with a real person as a practice coaching client. Reflection and reporting are part of the learning process.
The certificate is awarded upon successful completion of the program and fieldwork. This training prepares students to work as spiritual life coaches, not therapists, with an emphasis on self-awareness, listening, belief work, and ethical coaching practice.
This certificate recognizes completed training and applied learning in spiritual life coaching under the NOC
NOC 42201 – Social and Community Service Workers
This is the most commonly accepted and defensible classification for spiritual life coaches when the work involves:
- non-clinical guidance and support
- mentoring, coaching, and life-skills development
- spiritual or values-based support
- community or faith-based settings
- no diagnosis, therapy, or regulated mental health treatment
This NOC explicitly includes workers who support individuals through personal development and community-based services without being therapists.
